Why is there a need for trained after loss professionals?
The realities of today's circumstances around family dynamics, aging, geography and demands around work/life balance pose an interesting challenge:
- The world's population is aging at a faster rate than ever before and people are living longer
- We have more "stuff" (personal property and assets) than ever before
- We live further from immediate and extended family, resulting in a void of support
- We're having kids later in life, in effect creating an older sandwich generation who are busy juggling kids and careers and may be unable to help their aging parents/loved ones
PALS helps fill the gap created by the reality of estate attorneys, accountants and/or financial advisors not handling all of the to-dos that fall to the family after a loss.
