The PALS course exceeded my expectations in all aspects: course content, networking opportunities, and the caliber of student/moderator engagement. I feel prepared to begin my career as an After Loss Professional and am so grateful to have the PALS community as part of my journey.

– Kylee B., CO

I learned a ton from this training, and feel much more confident and ready to start my business. I also appreciated being in such a great group of people with interesting backgrounds.

– Katie B.

So much great information and so well presented. Great to hear from those doing the work in the field. Really good value for the price. Only wish it was longer.

– Kim B.

I thought the training program was well-organized and well thought-out.  I also believe the content creators were very generous with the resources and materials.  The hand-outs, case studies, and training videos contained a ton of valuable information - literally years of experience were poured into them!  Also,  the instructors were knowledgeable, helpful and always available.  I feel so much more confident after taking this training program!  A huge thank you to the PALS founders for supporting me through my career change.  They have set me up for success by offering such a valuable training program!

– Daphne A.

Truly, this was one of the most well thought-out self-paced learning programs I have ever completed. The cohort model helped us build connection with other newbies, each week built on the foundation laid by the previous week, and the just-in-time resources are OUTSTANDING.

– Marion S.

The three founders are equally brilliant and talented and committed to this work. You are truly making a difference in people's lives and I just appreciate you sharing your knowledge and making space to create this community. And a close "second" as the best part of the training program are the materials. Not too detailed, not too light, ... just right! (p.s. Your corporate branding makes me swoon.)

– Marion S.

This has been so wonderful. Far beyond expectations. Thank you!

– Kylee B., CO

Jasmine Hathaway is the founder of Compass Coordinators, which is located in Charlotte, NC. In 2021, she won first prize in the national "Daring to Disrupt" contest for female entrepreneurs. The idea for starting Compass Coordinators came after her own experience with loss, when her husband Allan died of cancer in 2015.

Mollie Lacher is a Tennessee native with a master's degree in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University. After the unexpected passing of her brother-in-law in 2017, Mollie left her project management career at Bridgestone to start Sunny Care Services and help other families like hers navigate all of the to-do's after losing a loved one.

Rachel Donnelly is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and serves on the Board of Directors of the Momento Foundation, an Atlanta non-profit that provides free photography sessions for families facing terminal diagnoses. After her own experiences with loss, Rachel founded AfterLight to help clients stop wondering what they're supposed to be doing and get back to the things that matter.
