PALS Point Community Guidelines
Effective date: November 1, 2022
What is the purpose of PALS Point?
The PALS Point is the collaborative environment for PALS Members to network, share resources and offers, discuss issues and learn from one another. The quality of the group depends on the input that each member contributes. Members ask questions or share information and comment on others' posts, which benefits everyone.
What are the goals of PALS Point?
PALS Point is intended for information and discussion pertaining to after loss, end-of-life and industry related issues. The goal of the group is to foster a sense of community and camaraderie within the industry and provide a place for people to learn, discuss and share information in a professional and friendly environment.
What are the participation requirements of PALS Point?
To be a member of this group you must be a PALS member in good standing.
Be professional
The group is self-moderating. Members are encouraged to use private email to send announcements of a personal nature to one another in lieu of posting it to the entire group. Exceptions will be made in the case of serious illness or death so members may reach out to the affected person in a timely manner.
Confidentiality regarding forwarding emails
Our community is a paid benefit of membership. It is also a confidential one. It is not acceptable to share or forward the content of posts to anyone outside the PALS Point community without the expressed permission of the person whose post is quoted in part or in full. This includes forwarding posts for referrals for after loss services assistance.
